I’ve been a fan of Rihanna’s since Pon De Replay first came out back in 2005. It has been exciting to see how far she has grown in the past 13 years! After getting her career started in music, she has expanded her empire to beauty products, make up, sneakers, and lingerie. However her latest endeavor is her most impressive yet.
Our very own Bad Gal Ri Ri will be creating a luxury line with Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, or LVMH. This is impressive for a multitude of reasons. She will be the first and youngest woman to ever create a line under the massive fashion conglomerate. The most recent line that was released under LVMH was Christian Lacroix… in 1987! The line is called “Fenty”, of course just like her last name and many other products. I am excited to see Rihanna’s complete fashion line and what else the future holds for Ri Ri!
“June Gloom” is upon us a bit earlier this year! With this dreary weather it’s been hard to get out of bed and I’ve been wanting to wear my comfy clothes! Here’s a few of my favorite looks from this week, these ladies are a great example of being comfy and still chic!
IT’S FINALLY HERE… the Met Gala! If you are unaware the Met Gala occurs every year and is a fundraising event held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in NYC. Top designers create extravagant pieces based on the year’s theme for different celebrities.
This year’s theme was “Camp”. The idea was based of of Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay “Notes on Camp”. Camp essentially is the art of being “extra”, but in the best way possible, so over-doing it is encouraged! I loooove the idea of camp and have always been inspired by figures like the Spice Girls, Cher, Prince, and many more who perfectly exhibit what it means to be “Camp”.
I’m so glad so many people went above and beyond on the pink carpet, below are my favorite looks from the night!
There was no way I could review looks from Weekend One without doing Weekend Two! So here it is… take a look below at my favorite looks from Weekend Two of Coachella. Comment below on which one you like the best!
Weekend One of Coachella just came to an end and so many fun moments came out of it! Billie Eilish finally met Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande reunited 4/5 members of *NSYNC, and so much more. But of course, my favorite part will be the fashion!
I love looks that are unique and creative. Everyone can throw on some flowy pants and a flower crown and call it a day, but that’s far too easy. Coachella is all about fun and practicality (you are in the middle of the desert after all) and I think it’s important to show that through your fashion choices for the three day extravaganza.
Take a look below and get inspired by these Coachella babes!

Now that spring has arrived, here are a few cute trends I’ll be taking note of! Check them out below!
- I love this bright yellow skirt that @dancingwithflyingcolors is wearing. You can dress it up or even dress it down!
2. @Abbienaija looks super cute for her day in the park in these flowy striped pants!
3. Who knew Kermit could be so fashionable! @Northofmanhattan looks quite cool in this kermit tee and matching shorts.
4. @Sara_Luxe looks rock ‘n’ roll glam in this vest and bandanna combination!
5. Kayleigh from both Ex On the Beach UK and MTV’s The Challenge looks spiffy on her night out on the town!
6. This orange Topshop duster is a great way to add some color to your wardrobe!
7. I think at this point 75% of my closet is band t-shirts, and I’ll be adding this one to the collection. I love the way @Sarahmian made this Nirvana graphic tee look extra chic.
8. Sami Miro is awesome and this outfit proves just why! She’s got a great sense of style, so much so that she’ll be pairing with @Andresaraviva
9. @Untiltheverytrend looks icy in this all white ensemble!
10. @Kalynnelizabethsmith added a bit of tomboy flair to this yellow sun dress!
To those who are unfamiliar, Coachella is a music festival that has been around for nearly twenty years! The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (better known now as just “Coachella”) started off as a three day concert for indie bands and artists, but has grown to be a yearly pop culture frenzy. Sadly I have not gotten a chance to attend Coachella. My dear brother and I were supposed to go last year. He bailed and I MISSED BEYCHELLA, something I will be sure to remind him of until the end of time…
Though I have not gotten a chance to be a part of the experience, I always enjoy looking at the fashion. It is held in Indio, CA – aka the hot a** desert, so I feel that it’s essential to wear something light, comfortable, and most importantly stylish!
Here are a few of my favorite outfits from the past few years!
Here are a few of my favorite fashion moments from this week!
As I said before – I live and breathe cheetah print! So you know this dress caught my eye. But I especially like the way the sneakers and jacket made for a more casual look.
“J to the L. O. – HELLO! ” Is exactly what I think when I see the ageless Jennifer Lopez in this hot pink coat!
Miley Cyrus looking like she stepped right out of Romy and Michele’s world to come rock ours!
If it wasn’t already clear… I also love hot pink! So when Dua Lipa is done with this dress I’d like to be buried in it. Such glamour!
Sunita (@sunitav_) is wearing this rainbow coat magnificently!
Green is my least favorite color, besides orange, but I really like this lime green suit! The graphic t-shirt really brings the outfit together in a nice way (a way that makes me actually like green!)
Issa went ahead and snatched my wig without ANY warning! This whole photo shoot is to die for, but this photo in particular made me want to go buy a couple of head wraps.
Imagine hopping off of your private jet and looking this fabulous…. well Kim Kardashian can! KKW is looking ultra fierce in head-to-toe snake print.
Though this spring weather doesn’t know if it’s coming or going, I know that these bold spring fashion statements are here to stay! I love what I am seeing so far, a lot of bright colors and “in your face” patterns that can elevate your everyday style.
E! News Correspondent, Morgan Stewart (@morganstewart) is absolutely slaying in this two-tone pink blazer. COME THROUGH MALIBU BARBIE!
There was a time when the so-called “Canadian Tuxedo” was a faux pas…. But I am obsessed. The suede boots give it a little pop of color as well. (@idressmyself)
I am absolutely living for statement hats for Spring 2019. Not only are they cute, but they are multipurpose! Living in sunny LA, a hat like this will come in handy (@kelsey_diprima)
The ever-so-flawless @yesjulz is serving cool girl vibes in this highlighter green two-piece outfit.
US Olympian Alyson Felix shows us she can be fierce on and off the field!
I really like the way @Mykennajean styled this light-weight Cheetah print coat (then again, I live and breathe cheetah print… so I might be bias!)
Swing by @LFstores and re-create this outfit if you want to be the coolest chick in town… a la 2019 Sandy from Grease!
@Tiffanybal is tomboy Chic in her Yeezy Wave Runners and Grateful Deadgraphic tee!
